City to City learning to cater city needs to climate adaptation

The objective of City to City learning is to build greater institutional and human capacity required to accelerate progress towards disaster resilience.

Today, Prof. Chris Zevenbergen (UNESCO-IHE) will be at the Dresden Nexus Conference to present results of a preliminary study on City to City learning conducted together with Bax & Company partner Dr. Sebastiaan van Herk and Wolfgang Haupt (Gran Sasso Science Institute, L’Aquila). The full abstract is available here.

During the Dresden Nexus Conference, policy- and decision-makers, universities, national and international organizations, UN entities, ministries, governmental agencies and the private sector will discuss current research and initiatives applying the Nexus Approach and the benefits for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
